Latitude 7280 7380 keyboard bracket

This genuine Dell OEM bracket restores structural support for the keyboard assembly on Latitude 7280 and 7380 laptops. It is intended for technicians or owners replacing a damaged or missing tray support during a repair. The part number HRGDG confirms direct compatibility with those two models only. No other Dell series or third-party chassis are supported by this component.

Mechanical fit limited to two models

The bracket mounts exclusively to the internal chassis points defined for the Latitude 7280 and 7380. It cannot be adapted to other Latitude generations or different manufacturers without modification. Alignment tabs and screw-hole spacing match the factory design, so installation proceeds only when the host laptop matches the listed models exactly. Using it elsewhere will leave the keyboard insecure.

Restores keyboard stability on supported units

On a correct Latitude 7280 or 7380 the bracket eliminates flex and keeps key travel consistent across the full layout. It does not address liquid damage, membrane failure or backlight issues unrelated to physical support. If the surrounding chassis is cracked or screw bosses are stripped, the bracket alone cannot compensate. Buyers needing a complete palm-rest assembly or a different form-factor part will not be served by this item.
