Questions about this item

Will the 8 GB DDR4 memory need to be upgraded later for heavier workloads?

The laptop comes with 8 GB DDR4 soldered to the board, so it cannot be expanded; only the M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD can be replaced.

What limits sustained performance on the Intel Core i7-8650U during long sessions?

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory and thermal budget with the CPU, so graphics-intensive tasks hit thermal limits first.

How loud and hot does the 12.5" chassis get when running all day?

The compact 12.5" design uses a single fan; under continuous load the keyboard deck warms noticeably and fan noise becomes audible in a quiet room.
