Genuine Dell Latitude 7290 LCD Back Cover

This genuine Dell OEM back cover assembly replaces the lid on a Latitude 7290 laptop equipped with a 12.5-inch non-touchscreen display. It includes the integrated WLAN antenna cables required for Wi-Fi connectivity. The part is designed for models using the standard HD webcam and WLAN-only configuration.

Replaces Damaged Or Missing Lid Assembly

Install this cover when the original lid is cracked, warped or missing antenna cables. The jump is worth it when the existing chassis no longer protects the display panel or when Wi-Fi performance drops due to severed antenna leads. It restores the factory structural integrity and wireless reception without requiring a full display replacement.

Maintains Signal Integrity Under Daily Use

The embedded antenna cables are routed to match the original Dell layout, preserving consistent Wi-Fi throughput during extended sessions. The rigid chassis resists flex that can fatigue antenna connections over time. This assembly does not support touchscreen digitizers, IR webcams or WWAN modules, so buyers needing those features must source a different lid.

Will this 12.5-inch back cover fit my Latitude 7290 with a standard HD webcam and WLAN only?

Yes, the DH87G assembly is built for the Latitude 7290 with a non-touchscreen, standard camera and WLAN antennas; it does not support touchscreen, IR camera or WWAN.

Reuse the original hinge screws and antenna cable clips; the replacement cover includes the two WLAN antenna cables but does not ship with new fasteners.
