12.5" 2-in-1 Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude 7290 is a compact 2-in-1 laptop built for business professionals who need a portable device with a touchscreen. It runs on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor clocked at 1.9GHz with 16GB of DDR4 memory. The 12.5-inch HD display offers a 1366 x 768 resolution with LED backlighting. A 256GB SATA SSD provides the primary storage.

Professionals needing touch portability

This device suits mobile workers who value a lightweight convertible form factor for presentations and note-taking in meetings. The integrated webcam and Bluetooth 4.2 support daily video calls and peripheral connections. Buyers who need a higher resolution screen for detailed design work or a larger display for extended spreadsheet use should consider other options. The 4-cell battery targets all-day office productivity.

256GB SATA SSD storage capacity

The single most decisive specification is the 256GB SATA solid-state drive, which determines how much local data the system can hold. Users with large media libraries, virtual machines or extensive project archives will find this capacity limiting without external drives. The SATA interface also sets the maximum sequential transfer speed for the boot drive. Verify that this storage size matches your workload before purchasing.
