Genuine Dell OEM IR Webcam Module DKHY2

This genuine Dell OEM part replaces the integrated webcam module in compatible Latitude laptops. It includes a 3 mm RGB infrared camera and an integrated microphone. The module fits Latitude 7300, 7310 and 7410 models when the original part number matches DKHY2. Installation restores Windows Hello facial recognition and video conferencing capability.

Replaces a faulty or missing IR camera module

The part is required when the existing webcam no longer supports infrared face login or has failed completely. It upgrades a standard RGB-only camera to the infrared specification only if the laptop chassis and system board already support the IR variant. The jump is worth it only when the service manual confirms the DKHY2 part number for your exact unit.

Limited to Latitude 7300.

Other Latitude models and different camera modules for the same models are not compatible. The infrared function depends on the laptop's existing IR illumination hardware and Windows Hello driver support. Buyers who need a standard RGB camera without infrared or who own a different Dell series cannot use this module.

Questions about this item

Does this IR webcam module fit the Dell Latitude 7300, 7310 and 7410?

Yes, it is a genuine Dell OEM part number DKHY2 made for the Latitude 7300, 7310 and 7410. Verify your existing camera module part number matches DKHY2 before ordering.

How is the DKHY2 camera module installed and what step is often missed?

Remove the display bezel, disconnect the old camera cable, fit the 3 mm infrared module and reconnect the cable. The step often missed is confirming the replacement module is the infrared version, not the standard HD camera.

When will this DKHY2 webcam need replacement?

Replace it if the infrared sensor fails Windows Hello face recognition, the RGB image degrades or the integrated microphone stops capturing audio clearly.
