Business convertible with touchscreen

The Dell Latitude 7310 2-in-1 combines a 13.0-inch Full HD touchscreen with a quad-core Intel Core i7-10610U processor, 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 65-watt AC adapter in a silver chassis.

Suits mobile professionals who need pen

Workers who require a dedicated graphics processor, more than two memory slots or a larger display should consider other form factors. The convertible hinge and 3.5 mm audio jack support typical office and field tasks.

Single M.2 2242 slot limits storage expansion

The board provides one M.2 2242 socket with a maximum supported capacity of 1TB, so total storage cannot exceed that limit. Buyers planning larger local datasets must verify this constraint before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install the M.2 2242 SSD in the 7310 and what step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover, insert the drive into the single M.2 2242 slot at an angle, then secure it with the screw; the step often missed is re-enabling the drive in the BIOS after the physical install.

What maintenance will the 3-cell lithium-ion battery and the 65-watt AC adapter need later?

The battery will lose capacity over time and eventually require replacement; the 65-watt AC adapter may need replacing if the cable frays or the connector wears out.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the quad-core i7-10610U with the integrated cooling?

Thermal throttling engages once the cooling solution reaches its heat-dissipation ceiling, lowering clock speeds to keep temperatures safe.
