Convertible business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7310 2-in-1 is a 13.0 inch convertible notebook built for business users who need a touchscreen device running Windows 11 Pro. It ships new with a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10610U quad-core processor, 32GB of memory and a 4TB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 Full HD display supports touch input and the chassis includes a 65-watt AC adapter.

Sustained workload behaviour

The quad-core i7-10610U handles typical office applications and multitasking across the 32GB memory pool without throttling in normal use. The single 4TB drive provides ample space for large local datasets and the system supports up to 64GB total memory across two slots, though both slots are currently populated. HDMI 1.4 and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode allow external displays for extended desktop work.

Thermals noise and power

The 3-cell lithium-ion battery and 65-watt adapter keep power draw modest for a thin 0.7 inch chassis weighing between 3 and 3.9 lbs. Fan noise stays low during typical productivity tasks and the aluminium silver body dissipates heat adequately for business workloads. The included adapter supports USB PowerShare on one Type-A port for charging peripherals while the laptop sleeps.

Questions about this item

Does the 65-watt AC adapter and i7-10610U processor keep this 7310 cool and quiet during all-day workloads?

The 65-watt AC adapter matches the i7-10610U thermal design; fan speed scales with load so typical business tasks stay quiet while sustained heavy work raises airflow.

What must I already own to use the HDMI 1.4 port and the Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 port with DisplayPort Alt Mode on this 7310?

You need an HDMI cable for the HDMI 1.4 output and a USB-C cable or adapter that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for the Type-C port; both ports are on the laptop.

Will the HDMI 1.4 port on this 7310 drive my older 1080p screen?

Yes, the HDMI 1.4 port supports 1920 x 1080 resolution at standard refresh rates compatible with older 1080p displays.
