Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7310 is a 13.0-inch Windows 10 Pro notebook built for mobile professionals. A quad-core Intel Core i7-10610U processor reaches 4.90 GHz turbo frequency, while 32 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD keep workloads responsive. The carbon-fiber chassis weighs 1.22 kg and measures 17.55 mm at the front edge. Integrated graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Travel-focused specification

This machine suits users who need a light 13-inch device with strong multi-threaded performance and all-day battery potential. Buyers who require a larger screen, discrete graphics or a touchscreen should consider other form factors. The 256 GB drive limits local storage for large media libraries or virtual machines.

Deciding specification

The 32 GB memory capacity is the key figure that determines whether this unit fits the workflow. It enables heavy multitasking and virtualisation on a 13-inch platform where memory is not upgradeable. If the workload fits within 32 GB, the specification matches; if more is needed, the platform cannot be expanded.

Questions about this item

Is the 32 GB memory soldered or can I add a module later?

The 32 GB is installed in two SO-DIMM slots; both are occupied, so an upgrade requires replacing the existing modules.

Does the i7-10610U throttle at its 4.90 GHz turbo during long workloads?

Sustained heavy loads push the quad-core chip to its thermal limit, causing the boost clocks to drop until temperatures fall.

How loud does the fan get when the laptop runs flat-out all day?

Under continuous load the single fan spins up to an audible level, but the carbon-fibre chassis keeps surface temperatures comfortable for lap use.
