Business detachable with pen support

The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable 2-in-1 is a 13-inch Windows 11 Pro tablet designed for mobile professionals. Its 1920 x 1280 touch display and included kickstand allow quick transitions between laptop and tablet modes. The Intel Core i5-1140G7 processor with four cores handles office workloads and video calls. This unit ships new with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD.

Thermals and power in daily use

The 1.8 GHz base clock and 4.2 GHz turbo frequency scale performance to match demand inside an 8.44 mm chassis. Integrated graphics share system memory, keeping heat output modest during typical business tasks. Fan noise remains low when browsing, editing documents or streaming content. The 1.7 lb weight makes it comfortable to hold for extended periods.

The specification that decides fit

8 GB of soldered memory cannot be upgraded after purchase. Buyers who need more RAM for virtual machines, large datasets or heavy multitasking should consider a different configuration. The single Thunderbolt 4 port handles charging, data and external displays. Verify that your docking and peripheral needs match this single-port design before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the keyboard to the 13.0 inch detachable tablet and what step do people miss?

Align the magnetic connectors on the bottom edge of the 13.0 inch display with the keyboard pins, then press down until the latch clicks; the step most users miss is pressing firmly at both corners to engage the full magnetic strip.

Which component will need replacement first on the i5-1140G7 model with 8GB soldered memory and 256GB SSD?

The 256GB SSD is the only user-replaceable part; the 8GB RAM is soldered to the motherboard and the 4.2 GHz quad-core processor is not socketed, so storage is the component you can swap later.

What thermal limit appears first when the 1.7 lb tablet runs the 4.2 GHz turbo boost continuously?

The 8.44 mm thin chassis forces the integrated graphics and CPU to share a single heat pipe, so sustained 4.2 GHz turbo triggers thermal throttling within minutes, dropping clocks to protect the 1.8 GHz base frequency.
