Genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connecting the palmrest USH junction board to the motherboard on Latitude 7330 laptops
This is a Genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable designed for the Latitude 7330 laptop. It connects the palmrest junction board to the motherboard. The part number is 2CR5D. It is a new replacement component for a specific internal connection.
This cable replaces a torn or faulty flex cable that links the palmrest USH board to the mainboard. The jump is worth it when the original ribbon fails due to hinge stress or accidental damage during a repair. It restores the electrical path for the palmrest-mounted functions.
The ribbon cable routes internally between the palmrest assembly and the motherboard inside the Latitude 7330 chassis. It requires disassembly to access the connectors on both ends. Installing it frees up the palmrest junction board to communicate with the system again.
