Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.90GHz. It comes with 8GB of memory and a 256GB solid state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. The non-touch display keeps the chassis light for daily transport.

Build integration

The integrated graphics share system memory so no discrete GPU slot is required. The 256GB SSD leaves the 2.5 inch bay free for a second drive if the chassis supports it. 8GB of RAM handles typical office workloads without needing an immediate upgrade. The compact footprint fits standard docking stations.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous workloads the 1.90GHz quad-core processor maintains steady clocks within its thermal envelope. Integrated graphics performance scales with available system memory bandwidth. The SSD sustains read and write speeds for long file transfers without throttling. Fan noise remains moderate during extended compile or render sessions.

Questions about this item

What is the first limit reached by the Core i7-8650U at 1.90 GHz under sustained load?

The 8GB memory ceiling will be reached before the processor saturates during prolonged heavy workloads.

How does the laptop behave for noise, heat or power when running all day?

Integrated graphics and the 13.3 inch chassis mean fan noise stays low and surface temperatures remain moderate during extended use.

What must I already own for this Windows 10 Pro laptop to work?

Only a compatible AC adapter is required; the 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM are already installed and the OS is licensed.
