Compact business laptop with touchscreen

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3 inch laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine with a responsive touchscreen. It combines an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD in a lightweight chassis. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 Full HD panel and external displays via HDMI.

Suited to mobile office work, not heavy graphics

This configuration suits users who value a bright 13.3 inch touchscreen, fast NVMe storage and versatile connectivity including USB-C 3.1 Gen 1, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and a microSD reader. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, a larger display or user-replaceable memory should consider other form factors. The Grade B condition means visible cosmetic wear such as scratches or shiny keys is present.

16GB soldered DDR4 decides upgrade limits

The memory is not user-upgradable, so the 16GB capacity is fixed for the life of the device. This makes the RAM specification the single most important factor when deciding if the laptop can handle your multitasking workloads. All other core components including the processor, SSD and display are also fixed by the platform design.

Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise does the i5-8350U 1.7 GHz quad-core produce during all-day use?

The 1.7 GHz quad-core processor runs efficiently for typical office workloads, keeping thermals manageable in the slim 13.3" chassis; fan noise stays low during light tasks and rises only under sustained heavy load.

Which cables or docks must I already own to use the USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 PowerShare and HDMI ports?

You need a USB-C cable or dock that supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 for data and PowerShare charging, plus a standard HDMI cable for the single HDMI output to an external display.

Will the Intel UHD Graphics 620 drive my older 1080p monitor over HDMI without scaling issues?

Yes, the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 outputs 1920 x 1080 over the HDMI port, matching the native resolution of a 1080p monitor for a 1:1 pixel image.
