13.3" FHD Latitude 7390 for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3 inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. An Intel Core i5-7300U processor running at 2.60 GHz and 8 GB of DDR4 memory drive everyday workloads. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed on the 256 GB SSD.

8 GB memory and 256 GB SSD capacity limits

The single memory slot holds 8 GB of DDR4 and supports a maximum of 16 GB, so heavy multitasking will require an upgrade. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory, limiting 3D and video editing headroom. The 256 GB SSD offers fast boot times but fills quickly with large media libraries.

Thermals and power in typical office use

The magnesium alloy chassis dissipates heat from the low-power processor during standard productivity tasks. Fan noise stays low when browsing or editing documents. The 45 W USB Type-C power adapter charges the lithium-ion battery, which is guaranteed to hold a charge for mobile work sessions.

Questions about this item

Will the single DDR4 slot and 8 GB soldered limit me if I keep my existing 16 GB DDR4 stick?

The board has one DDR4 slot and supports up to 16 GB total; the installed 8 GB module occupies that slot, so a 16 GB stick would replace it rather than add to it.

How can I confirm the Intel HD Graphics 620 is driving the 1920 x 1080 panel at 60 Hz after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and verify the resolution reads 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz; Device Manager should list Intel HD Graphics 620 without errors.

Does the box include a USB-C charger and an HDMI cable, or must I buy them separately?

The laptop includes its USB-C power adapter; an HDMI cable is not supplied and must be purchased separately.
