Business laptop with 11th Gen Intel Core i7

The Latitude 7420 is a 13.9-inch business laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It combines an Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor with 16GB of memory and a 512GB NVMe solid-state drive. The non-touch FHD panel resolves at 1920 x 1080. This configuration targets professionals who need a compact, managed device for office productivity and video conferencing.

Thermals and power in daily workloads

In typical office use the system runs quietly with the included AC adapter supplying power. The 13.9-inch chassis dissipates heat from the 3.00 GHz base processor during document editing, browser sessions and streaming without audible fan ramping. Battery life benefits from the efficient 11th-generation architecture during unplugged meetings.

Behaviour under sustained load

During extended multi-tasking or heavy background processing the cooling system maintains stable clocks rather than allowing rapid throttling. The 16GB memory ceiling and NVMe storage keep data flowing without paging delays. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or user-upgradeable memory should consider other form factors.
