Professional mobile workstation

The Dell Latitude 7430 is a 14.0 inch business laptop built for professionals who need reliable performance on the move. An Intel Core i7-1270P processor with 12 cores and 16 threads handles demanding workloads and multitasking with 32GB of LPDDR5 memory. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 FHD display for everyday productivity.

Thermals and power

The 12 core architecture combines 4 performance cores reaching 4.80 GHz with 8 efficiency cores up to 3.5 GHz for balanced power draw during typical office tasks. Shared system memory for graphics keeps the thermal profile consistent without a discrete GPU. Windows 11 Pro manages background activity to maintain quiet operation during standard business use.

Build and connectivity

Premium chassis materials meet Grade A cosmetic standards with a defect-free screen and refreshed keyboard and touchpad. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide high-speed data, video output and charging through a single connector. A full-size HDMI port, USB 3.2 Gen 1 with Powershare and a microSD card reader cover legacy peripherals and media transfer without adapters.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 256 GB NVMe PCIe SSD and what step do people miss?

The drive slides into the M.2 slot at a shallow angle, then secures with a single screw; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the thermal pad before closing the chassis.

What maintenance or replacement will the 32 GB LPDDR5 memory need later?

The memory is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded or replaced; no user maintenance is required beyond keeping vents clear for cooling.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the i7-1270P with Intel Iris Xe graphics?

The shared video memory and 12-core thermal envelope cause the P-cores to drop from 4.80 GHz toward 3.5 GHz once the cooling solution saturates.
