Latitude 7480 with i7-6600U

This 14.0-inch laptop runs on a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U at 2.6 GHz with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SATA M.2 SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. It suits mobile professionals who need a compact chassis with Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI for external displays.

Verify power and port needs

Confirm the barrel-type charger matches your region and that the single Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port covers your docking or peripheral plans. The system offers three USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, a microSD reader, a 720p webcam and Bluetooth 4.2. There is no optical drive and the screen is not touch-enabled, so check those requirements before ordering.

Replaces bulkier 14-inch business notebooks

Moving from a heavier chassis or a dual-core i5 with 8GB RAM and a SATA hard drive brings noticeable weight savings and faster boot times. The jump is worth it when you need Thunderbolt 3 expandability, a 1080p panel and 16GB memory in a durable frame. Buyers who want a dedicated GPU, a touchscreen, larger storage or a newer CPU generation should look elsewhere.
