Latitude 7480 QHD touchscreen for mobile

The Latitude 7480 is a 14.0 inch laptop with a 2560 x 1440 touchscreen, an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the display. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. It suits professionals who need a high-resolution screen and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity while travelling.

Check ports, power and OS requirements before

Verify that your peripherals work with three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port and one Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port. The system includes a microSD card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. A webcam is built in. No optical drive is fitted. Ensure your software runs on Windows 10 Pro and that the supplied charger matches your local mains voltage.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The low-power i7-6600U and integrated graphics keep heat output modest during typical office workloads, so fan noise stays low in quiet rooms. The 1TB NVMe SSD has no moving parts, aiding silent operation and battery efficiency. Dell notes the high-efficiency processor helps extend battery life between charges. Heavy sustained loads will raise temperatures and fan speed as expected for a slim 14 inch chassis.
