Dell Latitude 7490 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0 inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor running at 1.70GHz. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed on this new unit.

Suited to office work and travel.

This configuration suits professionals who need a portable machine for document editing, web apps and video calls using the integrated 620 graphics and FHD 1080p display. Buyers who want more storage capacity, a dedicated graphics card for rendering or gaming, or a touchscreen panel should look at a different model.

1TB NVMe PCIe drive determines fit

The single specification that decides fit is the 1TB NVMe PCIe solid-state drive. It provides fast boot and load times for the operating system and applications, but the capacity is fixed; if your workflow requires multiple terabytes of local data you will need external storage or a larger internal drive.
