Purpose-built business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0" work-focused notebook running Windows 11 Pro. It pairs an Intel Core i7 1.90GHz processor with 32GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. The package includes an AC adapter and a functional battery.

Who this suits

Professionals needing a portable Windows 11 machine with 32GB of RAM for multitasking across office applications and browser workloads will find the specification matches their daily driver requirements. Buyers who want more storage or a larger display should look at something else.

Deciding specification

The single figure that decides fit is the 256GB SSD capacity; if your active project files and OS footprint stay within that space the Latitude 7490 works, otherwise you will need a system with a larger drive.
