Ready-to-work 14-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 ships with Windows 11 Pro, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe SSD already installed. An Intel Core i7-8650U processor with four cores and eight threads handles office suites, browser tabs and video calls without delay. It is aimed at mobile professionals who need a clean, managed device straight from the box.

Simple peripheral expansion

Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI ports let you attach docks, external displays or projectors with a single cable each. Three USB 3.0 ports and a microSD reader cover legacy accessories and quick file transfers. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.2 keep network setup straightforward. No optical drive is present, so software must arrive via download or USB media.

Memory headroom for heavy multitasking

The 32GB DDR4 configuration removes RAM pressure when running virtual machines, large spreadsheets or dozens of browser tabs simultaneously. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory and drives the 1920 x 1080 panel or one external 4K display smoothly. The 256GB NVMe SSD boots Windows 11 Pro in seconds, yet capacity fills quickly with local media libraries or offline mail archives, so cloud storage or an external drive becomes necessary for long-term growth.
