12" LCD Latch for Latitude CP Series

This genuine Dell latch assembly fits the 12-inch LCD panel on Latitude CP, CPi and CPiA notebooks. It replaces a broken or missing catch so the display stays closed during transport. The part is made from the same plastic specification used in the original build.

Sustained-use behaviour

The latch mechanism is a passive spring-loaded component with no moving electronics, so its holding force does not degrade under continuous daily opening and closing. It requires no power, firmware or driver support and therefore behaves identically on the first cycle and after years of repetition.
