Questions about this item

Will the DG118 palmrest fit the Dell Latitude D420 chassis I already own?

The DG118 is the Dell OEM palmrest assembly made for the Latitude D420, so it matches the original mounting points and cut-outs on that chassis.

How can I confirm the touchpad and speaker are functioning after installing the DG118 assembly?

After installation, move the pointer with the touchpad surface and play a system sound; both should respond immediately if the assembly is seated correctly.
