Dell Latitude E4200 LCD Back Cover Assembly

This genuine Dell OEM lid assembly fits the 12.1" Latitude E4200 notebook. It ships with left and right hinges and the WLAN antenna cables already routed. The part carries Dell PN F114G and has a black finish without WWAN bumps. No trim bezel or webcam opening is included.

Installation requires full display disassembly

Replacing the lid means removing the screen bezel, panel and hinge brackets before swapping the cover. The pre-fitted hinges and antenna cables simplify reassembly, but the ribbon cables are fragile and the hinge torque must be set correctly. Match the F114G part number to your unit first, because the E4200 uses several different lid variants.

WLAN-only design excludes WWAN and webcam

This cover lacks the cut-out for an integrated camera and the mounting points for WWAN antennas. Buyers needing mobile broadband support or a built-in webcam must source the alternative lid version. The assembly is strictly a mechanical replacement; it adds no electronic functionality beyond the antenna paths.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 12.1" LCD back cover is correctly fitted to my Latitude E4200?

After installation the left and right hinges should move smoothly, the WLAN antenna cables must connect without strain, and the cover should sit flush with no gaps around the edges.

What components come with the F114G assembly and what must I supply?

The assembly includes both hinges and the WLAN wireless antenna cables; you will need to provide the LCD panel, bezel trim, and any webcam module separately.

Which version of the Latitude E4200 lid should I choose if my part number is F114G?

Choose this F114G black cover without WWAN bumps; it is the WLAN-only version and will not fit models that require a WWAN antenna cut-out or a webcam slot.
