Genuine Dell LCD front trim for Latitude E5420

This original Dell bezel fits the 14 inch display on the Latitude E5420 and E5420M. It replaces a cracked or missing front trim while keeping the webcam window intact. The part is supplied new and matches the factory finish.

Webcam window cut-out included

The bezel moulding has the precise aperture for the integrated webcam so the camera lens aligns correctly after fitting. No camera module or sensor is included, only the plastic trim with the window. Dell part number 2KV9G confirms exact model compatibility.

Snap-in replacement, align the hinges first

Installation uses the original plastic clips; press evenly along the top edge after seating the hinge brackets. The most common issue is snapping a clip by forcing one corner before the hinges are engaged. Take care not to pinch the display cable when closing the lid.

Questions about this item

What does the 14" screen size mean for fitting this bezel on my Latitude E5420?

The 14" measurement matches the display diagonal of the Latitude E5420 and E5420M, so this bezel aligns with the existing screw points and hinge brackets on those models.

How does the webcam window affect installation on the E5420?

The bezel includes a cut-out for the webcam module; you simply transfer the original camera unit into the new bezel during reassembly.

What mounting points does this front trim cover use on the Latitude E5420?

It snaps onto the LCD back cover using the factory plastic clips and screw tabs already present on the E5420 chassis.
