Dell Latitude E5450 14" business laptop

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0-inch business notebook powered by a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-5300U processor from the 5th Gen family. It comes with 8GB of DDR3L memory and a 1TB 2.5-inch hard drive for local storage. Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit is pre-installed, making it ready for office tasks and legacy business applications.

Simple setup with integrated components

The laptop arrives fully assembled with the operating system, memory and storage already installed, so there is no internal hardware installation required for the base configuration. The integrated graphics and non-touch HD display reduce driver complexity, while the LED backlight eliminates a separate inverter board. Buyers who want more storage or faster boot times will need to replace the hard drive themselves, as no solid-state drive is included.

HD display and DDR3L platform limits

The 1366 x 768 resolution panel provides a basic 14-inch workspace but lacks the pixel density of modern Full HD screens, limiting multi-window productivity. The DDR3L memory architecture and integrated graphics restrict performance in graphics-intensive workloads and prevent memory upgrades beyond the platform's supported maximum. Users needing higher external display resolutions should verify the capabilities of the VGA and HDMI outputs before relying on them for multi-monitor setups.
