Built for daily productivity

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor running at 2.30 GHz with a 2.90 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 2TB SATA SSD, providing ample space for documents and applications. Windows 10 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed on the non-touch 1920 x 1080 display.

Upgrade from limited storage and memory

This configuration replaces laptops constrained by smaller hard drives or insufficient RAM for multitasking. The jump is worth it when you need 16GB of memory and a large 2TB solid-state drive without relying on external storage. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles standard desktop workloads and video playback.

Suits office workers and students

It suits professionals and students who prioritise a mature business chassis, a comfortable keyboard and generous onboard storage for offline files. Buyers needing a dedicated graphics processor for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. Users requiring a touchscreen or a lighter ultraportable form factor will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Will a 14.0" FHD screen fit in a standard 14-inch laptop sleeve?

The 14.0" diagonal with 1920 x 1080 resolution matches typical 14-inch sleeve dimensions; verify your sleeve's internal depth before buying.

How do I install the 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD, and what step is often missed?

Remove the base cover, slide the drive into the caddy, connect the SATA data and power cables, then secure the screws; many forget to initialise the drive in Windows Disk Management afterwards.

Can I upgrade the 16GB DDR3 memory beyond the 16 GB maximum supported?

The board supports a maximum of 16 GB across two slots, so the current 16GB configuration is already at the limit; no further RAM upgrade is possible.
