Latitude E5450 for everyday computing

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0" FHD laptop built around an Intel Core i7-5500U dual-core processor that reaches 3.00 GHz turbo. It ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit and 8GB of DDR3 memory, making it suited to office applications, web browsing and video playback. Buyers who need discrete graphics or more than two cores should look elsewhere.

8GB DDR3 and 500GB SSD capacity

The system includes 8GB of DDR3 RAM across two slots, with a 16GB ceiling for future upgrades. A new 500GB 2.5" SATA SSD provides the primary storage, offering faster boot and load times than a mechanical drive. Heavy multitasking or large media libraries will exceed the standard memory and storage headroom.

Windows 10 Home and integrated graphics

Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed, delivering a familiar desktop environment and broad driver support out of the box. Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles the 1920 x 1080 display without a separate GPU, keeping power draw low for typical productivity tasks. Users requiring hardware-accelerated 3D rendering or modern gaming APIs will find the integrated graphics insufficient.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.5" SATA 500 GB SSD fit in my older laptop that only accepts 2.5" SATA drives?

Yes, the SSD uses the standard 2.5" SATA form factor, so it will physically and electrically fit any laptop with a 2.5" SATA bay.

How can I verify the Intel Core i7-5500U is running at its 3.00 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab or a hardware monitor and watch the CPU clock; it should rise toward 3.00 GHz when a demanding task runs on one or both cores.

Does the box include a Windows 10 Home 64-bit licence or only the installed OS?

The laptop ships with Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit pre-installed and activated; no separate licence key card is mentioned in the contents.
