Genuine Dell keyboard bezel trim for Latitude E5470 laptops with dual pointing layout
This genuine Dell original trim bezel surrounds the keyboard on a Latitude E5470 with the Dual Pointing layout. The plastic lattice piece is designed for systems that include a centre stick pointer and two sets of mouse buttons. It replaces a damaged or missing surround without altering the typing surface.
As a passive plastic component the bezel trim generates no heat and draws no electrical power. It adds no audible noise to the laptop during operation. Installation simply restores the original keyboard surround without affecting system thermals.
The package contains only the single keyboard lattice trim piece identified by Dell part number 9F01R. No screws, tools, adhesives or software are included. The part is intended for Latitude E5470 Dual Pointing models and is also noted as compatible with the Latitude E5450.

Remove the old bezel by releasing the retention clips around the keyboard deck, then snap the new 9F01R trim into place ensuring the cut-outs for the pointing stick and both button sets align; the step often missed is verifying the dual-point button openings sit flush before pressing the clips home.
The plastic lattice trim itself requires no scheduled maintenance; replacement is only needed if the part cracks or the retention clips fatigue from repeated removal, which typically occurs during keyboard or palm-rest swaps on the E5470.
The first limit is clip fatigue — repeated flexing when removing the bezel for internal access can weaken the plastic retention tabs, causing the trim to sit loose on the E5470 chassis.
