Genuine Dell Lattice Trim for Latitude 5470

This original equipment bezel surrounds the keyboard on a Dell Latitude 5470 laptop equipped with a European single-point layout. It replaces a cracked or missing trim piece to restore the factory look and protect the underlying chassis. Buyers repairing a damaged palm-rest area on this specific model will find the correct fit.

Direct replacement restores original fit and finish

The plastic lattice cover snaps into the existing mounting points without adhesives or tools, rebuilding the structural border around the keyboard deck. Once installed, it prevents debris from entering the chassis gaps and returns the laptop to its as-shipped appearance. No additional hardware or software is included or required.

Verify European single-point keyboard before

This part fits only Latitude 5470 systems built with a European keyboard layout and a single pointing device. Models with US or other regional layouts, or those with a dual-point setup, use a different bezel and will not align correctly. Match the Dell part number X7NP0 on your existing trim to confirm compatibility.

Questions about this item

Will the plastic bezel around the keyboard on my Latitude 5470 become brittle and need replacing later?

The trim is a genuine Dell plastic piece; it only needs replacement if it cracks from impact or heavy daily flexing.

What is the first fitment limit I hit when installing this lattice cover on a European single-point keyboard?

It fits only Latitude 5470 models with a European keyboard and single pointing stick — dual-point or US layouts will not align.

Does the bezel trap heat or add fan noise when the laptop runs all day?

No, it is a passive plastic surround with no vents or electronics, so it adds no heat or noise.
