Genuine Dell Trim Bezel for Latitude 5520

This genuine Dell replacement trim bezel surrounds the keyboard on Latitude 5520 laptops equipped with the dual pointing palmrest. The black plastic piece carries part number DWJ9G and matches the original factory finish. It is intended for owners who need to restore the appearance or structural integrity of the keyboard surround.

Snap-in installation with part-number verification

The bezel clips into the existing palmrest chassis without tools, but the dual-pointing layout means the button cut-outs must align precisely with the two sets of mouse buttons. Misidentifying the palmrest type is the most common error; systems with a single pointing stick use a different bezel that will not fit.

Confirm dual-pointing palmrest before ordering

Check the part number on the original trim or in the service manual to ensure it reads DWJ9G. Verify that the current palmrest has both a pointing stick and a touchpad with separate button sets. This part will not fit Latitude 5520 models that have a single pointing configuration.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the DWJ9G trim bezel fits correctly on my Latitude E5520 after installation?

The bezel should sit flush around the keyboard with both sets of mouse buttons aligned and clicking smoothly, matching the dual-pointing palmrest layout.

What comes with the DWJ9G trim bezel and what must I source separately?

The package contains only the black plastic keyboard trim bezel; the palmrest, keyboard, trackpad and mounting screws are not included and must be reused or purchased elsewhere.

Which version of the DWJ9G trim bezel should I choose for my Latitude E5520?

Select this DWJ9G bezel only if your E5520 has the dual-pointing palmrest with two sets of mouse buttons; it will not fit single-pointing models.
