Product identity

The DELL Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor at 2.40 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.00 GHz. It ships with 8GB DDR3 memory and a new 128GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. No operating system is installed.

Suitability

This machine suits users who need a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display and Intel HD Graphics 520 for office applications or web work. Buyers who want more storage than 128GB or require a dedicated GPU for heavier graphical workloads should consider other configurations.

Bundled impact

The new 128GB SSD provides a clean, bootable drive without any pre-loaded software. The absence of an operating system means the buyer must supply and install Windows or an alternative OS before the laptop can be used.

Questions about this item

Does this laptop need an operating system installed before I can use it?

Yes, the Latitude E5570 ships with no operating system, so you must supply and install Windows or another OS yourself before the machine is usable.

Can I keep my existing 2.5" SATA drive and use it alongside the new 128GB SSD?

The spec lists only one 2.5" SATA bay with a 128GB SSD already fitted, so there is no second drive bay for an additional SATA drive.

How can I confirm the Intel HD Graphics 520 is active after I install the OS?

Open Device Manager in Windows and look under Display adapters; Intel HD Graphics 520 should appear there once the correct driver is installed.
