Latitude E5570 15.6" FHD Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch full HD laptop built for professional environments. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor with a 3.00 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles the 1920 x 1080 display.

Suits mobile workers needing legacy OS

This unit fits users who require Windows 10 Pro for application compatibility and appreciate the ability to upgrade memory to 16 GB across two slots. The non-touch FHD screen and integrated graphics suit office productivity and video conferencing via the built-in webcam. Buyers who want more storage capacity, a dedicated GPU, a touchscreen, or a newer generation processor should look at other models.

500 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this is the right part is the 500 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. It provides the boot drive and primary storage in a compact form factor. If your workload demands a larger solid-state drive or a 2.5-inch bay for additional drives, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How long can the dual-core i5-6300U sustain its 3.00 GHz turbo before thermal limits throttle it back?

The i5-6300U runs at a 2.40 GHz base and can reach 3.00 GHz turbo, but sustained turbo duration depends on the laptop's cooling solution and workload; expect throttling under continuous heavy compute.

What are the typical fan noise and surface temperatures when the E5570 runs a full-day workload?

Under sustained load the dual-core CPU and Intel HD Graphics 520 generate moderate heat; the internal fan spins up audibly and the keyboard deck and underside become warm to the touch.

The 8 GB DDR3 is soldered or slotted, and what is the maximum supported memory?

The E5570 has two DDR3 slots with 8 GB installed; maximum supported memory is 16 GB, so you can add one 8 GB module or replace both for the full upgrade.
