Dell Latitude E5570 15.6" FHD Laptop

This Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 16GB DDR3 memory and a new 1TB SSD 2.5" SATA drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Suits office workers needing a ready-to-use

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles everyday productivity, video playback and multi-monitor desk setups. Buyers who require a discrete GPU for modern gaming, intensive 3D rendering or GPU-accelerated compute workloads should look elsewhere. The 16GB memory limit also means this unit cannot be upgraded beyond its current configuration.

1TB SSD 2.5" SATA storage

The boot drive is a new 1TB SSD using the 2.5-inch SATA interface. This capacity provides ample space for the operating system, applications and large local file libraries. Verify that your drive caddy or bracket accepts a 2.5-inch SATA device before installation.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the i7-6600U is running at its 3.40 GHz turbo frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager in Windows 10 Pro, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU clock speed under load; it should reach 3.40 GHz on the dual-core processor.

The listing mentions a NEW 1TB SSD — does the box also include a power adapter and are any drive caddies needed?

The unit ships with the 15.6" FHD laptop, 16GB DDR3 already installed, the 1TB 2.5" SATA SSD fitted, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit loaded and the AC adapter; no extra caddy is required.

Should I choose the 16GB DDR3 configuration or is a higher-capacity memory option available for the E5570?

The motherboard has two slots and supports a maximum of 16 GB, so the supplied 16GB DDR3 is the highest capacity this model can accept.
