Dell Latitude E5570 15.6" laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-6300U processor running at 2.40 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.00 GHz. It comes equipped with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 1TB M.2 NVMe solid-state drive. The system ships without an operating system installed.

Suits mobile professionals needing a large screen

This unit suits users who want a 15.6-inch HD display at 1366 x 768 resolution for office applications and web browsing. The dual-core processor and integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handle everyday productivity tasks. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a higher resolution panel, or discrete graphics performance should look at other models.

1TB M.2 NVMe SSD decides storage fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 1TB M.2 NVMe solid-state drive. It provides a large, fast storage volume for the operating system, applications and data files. The laptop supports a maximum of 16 GB of memory across two slots, so the installed 8GB can be doubled if required.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" HD panel with 1366 x 768 resolution work with my older VGA projector?

The laptop has no VGA port listed, so a VGA projector would need an active HDMI-to-VGA or DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter.

How can I confirm the Intel HD Graphics 520 and the new 1TB NVMe drive are detected after first boot?

Open Device Manager in Windows or run lspci in Linux; both the 520 graphics and the NVMe SSD should appear without extra drivers.

Does the box include a power adapter and are the two DDR3 slots already populated?

A 65 W AC adapter is included; the 8 GB DDR3 ships in one slot leaving the second slot free for an upgrade to 16 GB.
