15.6-inch HD Latitude E5570

This Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch HD laptop driven by an Intel Core i7-6600U processor at 2.60 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. It comes with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500GB 2.5-inch SATA SSD. The device is sold new without an operating system installed.

Suited for OS-flexible deployments

Organisations that maintain their own Windows or Linux images will appreciate the clean slate and the dual-core 6th generation Intel CPU. The 1366 x 768 non-touch screen and Intel HD Graphics 520 handle standard office workloads. Buyers who need a pre-loaded licence, a higher-resolution panel or discrete graphics should consider other models.

Memory fixed at 16GB DDR3

The system provides two memory slots but the maximum supported capacity is 16 GB, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. This limit decides whether the laptop can meet your multitasking requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Intel Core i7-6600U is running at its 3.40 GHz turbo frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager and watch the CPU speed column under load; it should climb toward 3.40 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

What is included in the box and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with the 15.6" HD display, 16GB DDR3, NEW 500GB SSD, webcam and Bluetooth; you must supply your own operating system.

Should I choose the 500GB SSD or a larger drive for this Latitude E5570?

The 2.5" SATA bay accepts larger SATA SSDs if you need more than 500GB; the installed drive is already new and ready to use.
