DELL Latitude E5570 15.6" HD laptop

The DELL Latitude E5570 is a 15.6" HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-6200U processor with 16GB DDR3 memory. It includes a new 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD and Intel HD Graphics 520. The system ships with no operating system installed.

Sustained workload behaviour

The dual-core processor runs at 2.30 GHz with a turbo frequency of 2.80 GHz. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles basic visual tasks. The 16GB DDR3 memory is the maximum supported capacity for this model. Thermal performance under continuous load will depend on the chassis cooling design.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives without an operating system, so the buyer must acquire and install Windows or another OS. Memory slots total two, but 16GB is already the supported maximum. The 1TB NVMe drive is pre-installed. No operating system licence is included.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the i5-6200U get when the E5570 runs all day?

The dual-core i5-6200U has a 2.80 GHz turbo ceiling, so sustained workloads keep thermals moderate; fan noise stays low in typical office use.

What must I already own to use this E5570 since it ships with no operating system?

You need a Windows or Linux licence and a USB stick to install it; the laptop itself includes 16 GB DDR3 and a 1 TB NVMe drive ready to boot.

Will my older DDR3 SODIMMs work if I want to swap memory in this Latitude 5570?

The board takes DDR3 only and is already at the 16 GB maximum across its two slots, so there is no room for additional modules.
