Dell Latitude E6530 15.6" Core i7 Windows 10 Pro

The Dell Latitude E6530 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by a 2.90GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 3rd Gen processor with 8GB DDR3 memory. It runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and includes a 320GB 2.5-inch hard drive plus a DVD-RW drive. Integrated graphics drive the 1366 x 768 HD display.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits office workers needing a durable Silver chassis with TPM security, VGA and HDMI outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 g/n Wi-Fi and a built-in webcam for daily productivity. Buyers who want more storage capacity, solid-state drive speed, a touchscreen panel, dedicated graphics performance or higher display resolution should look elsewhere.

320GB 2.5-inch mechanical hard drive

The single specification that decides fit is the 320GB 2.5-inch mechanical hard drive. It provides baseline capacity for documents and applications but lacks the speed of an SSD and the headroom of larger drives. If your workflow demands faster boot times, quicker file access or significantly more space, this drive specification makes the unit unsuitable.

Questions about this item

Open Task Manager's Performance tab; the CPU should show 2 cores and 4 logical processors with a base speed of 2.90 GHz.

Which accessories are included in the box and which must I source separately?

The laptop ships with the AC adapter, battery, DVD-RW drive, integrated webcam, card reader and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed; no other peripherals are included.

Should I choose the 320 GB hard-drive version or upgrade to the 16 GB maximum memory configuration?
