Genuine Dell OEM Touchpad Ribbon for Latitude E7270

This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connects the touchpad assembly inside the Latitude E7270 laptop. It carries part number 81JRD and is the exact component shown in the supplier images. The part restores cursor control when the original flex cable fails or is damaged during service. It is not a universal cable and will not fit other Dell models or non-Dell laptops.

Simple flat-cable swap with no drivers required

Installation means opening the chassis, releasing the ZIF connectors at each end, and seating the new ribbon straight and fully inserted. The most common problem is a folded or kinked cable that causes intermittent or dead touchpad response. Another issue is debris on the connector contacts, which prevents a reliable electrical connection. Buyers needing a complete top-case assembly or a different pointing device will not be served by this single ribbon.
