Dell Latitude E7450 14" HD laptop

The Dell Latitude E7450 is a 14.0 inch HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-5300U processor running at 2.30 GHz with a turbo frequency of 2.90 GHz. It includes 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB SATA SSD. The dual-core 5th generation CPU handles everyday office applications and web browsing. Windows 10 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that your workflow runs on Windows 10 Home 64-bit or plan for a separate Windows 11 Pro upgrade licence. The 1366 x 768 non-touch display suits standard productivity but not colour-critical design work. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 drives the internal panel only. Maximum memory is capped at 16 GB across two slots, so no further RAM expansion is possible.

Replaces older 1366 x 768 business notebooks

This unit upgrades from earlier dual-core laptops limited to 4 GB or 8 GB of memory and mechanical hard drives. The new 240GB SSD and 16GB DDR3 deliver faster boot and application launch times. The jump is worth it when you need a lightweight 14 inch chassis with solid-state responsiveness for general office tasks. Buyers who want higher resolution screens, discrete graphics or user-replaceable storage beyond the single 2.5 inch SATA bay should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 14.0" HD 1366 x 768 panel come installed, or must I supply my own display?

The 14.0" HD 1366 x 768 non-touch screen is fitted and ready to use; no separate display purchase is needed.

Should I choose the 240GB SATA SSD or a larger capacity for the Intel Core i5-5300U system?
