Business ultrabook with Intel Core i5

The Dell Latitude E7450 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine. It pairs a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5 5th Gen processor with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a 512GB SSD. This configuration handles office applications, web browsing and multi-tasking without excess bulk.

Thermals and power in daily use

The ultrabook chassis manages heat from the integrated Intel HD Graphics and processor during typical workloads such as document editing or video playback. Fan noise stays low during light tasks and rises only under sustained load. The 512GB solid-state drive draws less power than a mechanical drive, helping battery life during mobile use.

Windows 10 Pro and Bluetooth 4.0

A clean installation of Windows 10 Pro arrives without manufacturer bloatware, so the system is ready for domain join, BitLocker and remote desktop from first boot. Bluetooth 4.0 connects keyboards, mice or headsets without a dongle. The Grade B cosmetic condition means visible scratches or dents on the chassis that do not affect operation.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DDR3 memory in the Latitude E7450, and what step do people often get wrong?

Remove the base cover, insert the DDR3 module at an angle until the clips click, then replace the cover; the common mistake is not seating the module fully before locking it down.

What maintenance or replacement will the 512GB SSD need later?

The 512GB SSD has no moving parts, so no routine maintenance is required; replacement is only necessary if the drive fails or you need more capacity.

What limit appears first on the Intel HD Graphics during sustained workloads?

The integrated Intel HD Graphics shares system memory and thermal headroom with the CPU, so graphics performance throttles first under heavy, continuous load.
