14-inch HD business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude E7450 combines a 14.0-inch HD display with an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor running at 2.30 GHz with a 2.90 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 128GB 2.5-inch SATA SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Check your workflow needs before ordering

The non-touch 1366 x 768 screen suits text-heavy tasks but limits multi-window work. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles office applications and video playback only. Memory is maxed at 16GB across two slots with no room for expansion. The single 128GB drive leaves little space for large local files.

Replaces older 1366 x 768 ultraportables

Upgrading from a spinning-disk system of the same resolution gives faster boot times and snappier application launches thanks to the new SSD. The jump is worth it when you need Windows 10 Pro readiness and 16GB of memory out of the box. Buyers who want more storage, a higher-resolution panel, or discrete graphics should look elsewhere.
