HD 1366 x 768 non-touch display

The 14.0-inch panel uses a 1366 x 768 HD resolution and does not support touch input. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 drives the screen and external outputs. This single display specification determines whether the visual workspace fits the task.

Buyers comfortable installing and licensing an operating system will find a capable office machine with maximum memory already fitted. Those who need a pre-activated Windows licence, a higher-resolution screen, touch control or more internal storage should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

How does the 2.30 GHz base clock and 2.90 GHz turbo of the i5-5300U perform in daily office tasks?

The dual-core processor runs at 2.30 GHz normally and can boost to 2.90 GHz for short bursts, giving smooth performance for web browsing, document editing and video calls.

What does the 2.5" SATA interface mean for the 240GB SSD speed?

The drive connects through a standard 2.5-inch SATA link, so sequential reads top out around 500 MB/s — fast enough for quick boot and app loading.

Can the 16 GB DDR3 memory be expanded later?

No, both SODIMM slots are already filled to reach the 16 GB maximum the board supports, so no further upgrade is possible.
