Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits users who need a portable 14-inch device with a 1080p screen and solid-state storage for general productivity. The two memory slots support up to 16 GB of DDR3 for future upgrades. Buyers who require a pre-installed operating system, a touchscreen interface, discrete graphics, or greater storage capacity should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The Intel HD Graphics 5500 integrated GPU handles video output and light graphical tasks without dedicated video memory. If your workload demands discrete graphics performance for rendering, gaming, or GPU-accelerated applications, this integrated solution will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Will a 2.5 inch SATA drive fit the storage bay?

Yes, the laptop ships with a 500GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD installed in the internal bay.

Which screw secures the SSD caddy, and why does it matter?

A single small screw holds the caddy to the chassis; skipping it lets the drive shift and lose SATA contact.

When should the 8GB DDR3 modules be upgraded?

The board supports up to 16GB total across two slots, so add a second 8GB stick when multitasking slows.
