Business Ultrabook Core i7 6600U

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch FHD laptop built around an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor that reaches 3.40 GHz. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a new 1TB SSD 2.5" SATA drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate professional use.

Sustained Load Thermal Profile

Under continuous demand the Intel HD Graphics 520 and the 2.60 GHz base clock share a compact thermal envelope. The dual-core design maintains steady throughput for office suites and browser workloads without aggressive throttling. Fan activity rises gradually to keep surface temperatures acceptable during long sessions.

SATA Storage Ceiling

The 2.5" SATA interface caps sequential transfer rates well below modern PCIe alternatives. The 1TB SSD delivers reliable boot and application loading within that bandwidth limit. Users needing faster scratch-disk speeds or larger volumes must accept the platform's fixed storage ceiling.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the Core i7-6600U get during all-day use?

The dual-core processor runs at a base 2.60 GHz and can boost to 3.40 GHz; typical office workloads keep fan noise low and chassis warmth modest.

Which ports or peripherals must I already own to connect external displays?

The laptop provides standard video outputs for monitors or projectors; check the side and rear for the exact connectors you need.

Will the Intel HD Graphics 520 work with my older VGA monitor?

The integrated graphics supports legacy analogue output through the appropriate adapter, so a VGA display can be driven without issue.
