Dell Latitude E7470 14-inch HD laptop

This Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0-inch HD laptop built for professionals who need a compact Windows 10 machine with a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory and a new 1TB SATA SSD. It suits office work, web browsing and video calls on the integrated Intel HD Graphics 520.

Ready to use with no assembly required

The laptop arrives with Windows 10 Home 64-bit pre-installed on the new 1TB SSD so you can sign in and start working immediately. The only common issue is that the 1366 x 768 non-touch display cannot be upgraded and the memory is already at the 16GB maximum supported by the two slots.

Verify your software and peripheral needs first

Confirm that your applications run on Windows 10 Home 64-bit and that any external monitors you plan to connect accept the laptop's video outputs. The 2.5-inch SATA drive bay is occupied by the included SSD so there is no internal room for a second drive.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-6600U is reaching its 3.40 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Task Manager in Windows 10 Home, select the Performance tab, choose CPU and run a demanding task; the live clock speed should climb toward 3.40 GHz when the dual-core processor is fully utilised.

What is included in the box and which essential items are not supplied?

The box contains the Latitude E7470 with its 14.0" 1366 x 768 non-touch display, 16GB DDR4 memory, NEW 1TB 2.5" SATA SSD and Windows 10 Home 64-bit pre-installed; a power adapter is typically included but external peripherals such as a mouse or monitor are not.

Should I choose the 1TB SSD version or is a larger capacity available for this model?

The listed configuration ships with a NEW 1TB 2.5" SATA SSD and the memory is already at the 16GB maximum supported by the two slots, so no larger factory SSD or RAM option exists for this specific unit.
