Business ultraportable with high memory capacity

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for professionals who need a compact system with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 128GB M.2 SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with integrated Intel HD Graphics 520. The non-touch FHD display resolves at 1920 x 1080.

Travellers needing maximum RAM in a thin chassis

This configuration suits mobile workers who require 32GB of memory for heavy multitasking or virtual machines while moving between meetings. Buyers who need a larger local storage volume for media libraries or engineering datasets should look at a different system. The integrated graphics and non-touch screen also make it unsuitable for creative professionals requiring dedicated GPU acceleration or pen input.

32GB DDR4 soldered at the factory limit

The memory is fixed at 32GB, which matches the platform maximum, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. This ceiling determines whether the laptop can handle your long-term workload growth.

Questions about this item

What are the dimensions of the 14.0 inch screen and which video ports does the E7470 provide?

The display measures 14.0 inches with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Video output uses one HDMI port and one mini Display Port.

How is the 128GB M.2 SSD installed and what common step is missed?
