Genuine replacement power button and hinge cover for Latitude XFR D630 rugged laptops
This replacement cover fits the Latitude XFR D630 rugged laptop only. It protects the centre control and power button area while restoring the hinge cover appearance. The part carries Dell part number F297C and is supplied new. Buyers needing covers for other Latitude models or different rugged series cannot use this item.
The cover is a passive plastic component with no moving parts or electronics. It generates no heat, produces no audible noise and draws no power during normal use. Installation simply replaces the original cover on the XFR D630 chassis.

Align the hinge cover with the chassis openings, press the power button actuator into its socket, then snap the cover down until the retention clips engage fully.
The plastic clips can fatigue after repeated opening cycles; replace the cover if the power button feels loose or the hinge cover no longer sits flush.
