Genuine Dell LCD back cover lid for Inspiron 1120

This genuine Dell replacement lid fits Inspiron 1120, 1121 and 1122 models as well as the M101z and M102z variants. It arrives new in black and includes the wireless antenna cables already integrated into the assembly. The part carries Dell part number KH3P6 for exact identification.

Verify your exact model before ordering

Only the Inspiron 1120, 1121, 1122, M101z and M102z are confirmed compatible; other Inspiron chassis use different hinge brackets and antenna routing. Check the service tag or the sticker on the bottom case to confirm the model number matches one of the listed units. Buyers needing a lid for a different screen size, a touchscreen variant or a non-Inspiron series will not be served by this part.

Durable OEM construction for daily use

The lid is moulded from the same plastic specification Dell uses on the production line, so hinge mounts and screw bosses retain their alignment after repeated opening cycles. Integrated antenna cables are shielded to maintain wireless signal integrity over the laptop's service life. No moving mechanisms or electronic components are present that could degrade under sustained thermal cycling.

Questions about this item

Does the KH3P6 lid arrive with the wireless antenna cables already fitted, or do I need to order them separately?

The KH3P6 assembly ships with the wireless antenna cables included, so no extra antenna parts are required.

My Inspiron 1122 M102z uses the same KH3P6 part number as the 1120 and 1121 — is the black lid identical across all three models?

Yes, the black KH3P6 lid fits Inspiron 1120, 1121 and 1122 M102z without modification.

Once the KH3P6 cover is installed on an Inspiron 1121, will the hinge brackets and screw holes line up exactly as the original?

The KH3P6 is a genuine Dell OEM part, so hinge brackets and screw locations match the factory lid on the 1121.
