Built for field work

The Dell Latitude 5000 5430 is a 14.0 inch rugged notebook with a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5-1145G7 quad-core processor at 2.60 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle everyday visual tasks. The chassis includes a serial RS-232 port for legacy industrial equipment.

Upgrade from fragile consumer ultrabooks

This model replaces thin-and-light laptops that cannot survive drops, vibration or extreme temperatures. The jump is worth it when your staff works outdoors, in vehicles or on factory floors where a standard notebook would fail. It is not for buyers who need discrete graphics performance or user-replaceable storage bays.

Drop-in deployment for IT fleets

The system arrives with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and drivers validated for the Latitude 5000 line. A single Thunderbolt 4 port with PowerDelivery 3.0 handles docking and charging through one cable. The only common snag is the single USB 3.2 Gen 1 port count, which may require a hub for multiple peripherals.
