Suits XPS9320-7523BLK-PUS owners

Simple internal swap

Installation requires opening the laptop chassis, disconnecting the old pack, and connecting the new one using the existing cable. The main risk is damaging the fragile ribbon cables or stripping the small screws during disassembly.

Questions about this item

Which laptop model must I own for the MN79H 55 Wh battery to fit and function?

The MN79H is built for the Dell XPS 9320 7523BLK-PUS; it matches the original 6-cell 11.55 V specification so it slots straight into that chassis.

Will the 6-cell 11.55 V MN79H work in an older Dell XPS that used a 4-cell or lower-voltage pack?

No — the MN79H delivers 11.55 V from six lithium-ion cells, so it only replaces the exact 55 Wh pack specified for the XPS 9320 7523BLK-PUS.

How can I confirm the MN79H is charging and reporting capacity correctly after installation?

Power on the XPS 9320 7523BLK-PUS, open the BIOS or Dell Power Manager, and verify the battery shows 55 Wh design capacity, 11.55 V and a rising charge percentage.
